Patty Michelle Cook, 51, of Jacksonville, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at her residence. She was born on February 10, 1973, in Jacksonville, the daughter of George Duke and Ima Price. She married Jared Cook on September 26, 1998, at the Brooklyn United Methodist Church, and he survives.
In addition to her husband Jared, she is survived by her children: Brandon (Kristin) Cook, Bryan Cook, Noah Cook, Elijah Cook, Hannah (James Lahey) Cook, and Olivia Cook; grandchildren: Alice Cook, Luna Cook, Wallace Cook; sisters: Linda (David) Brogdon, Diana Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister: Bonita Brown.
Patty worked for Jeff Mossman State Farm Insurance agency, and previously the former Ponderosa restaurant. She enjoyed camping, trips to St. Louis, and watching the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls and Chicago Bears. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of The Crossing Church in Jacksonville.
