Belinda J. Bredemeyer, 64, of Virginia, IL, and formerly of Jacksonville, died Friday, March 21, 2025, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.
She was born December 11, 1960, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Phillip Leon and Carol May (Menge) Floyd. Belinda married Robert Bredemeyer, and he survives.
She is also survived by her children, Josh, John, and Jessica Griffin; many grandchildren; sisters, Tina Stewart, Liz Floyd, Angela Hartz, and Pam Floyd; and brothers, James "Jimmy" Dailey and David Dailey. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Patricia "Patty" Schofield.
Belinda graduated from Jacksonville High School. She worked as a chef for a restaurant in Virginia for twenty-one years. Belinda enjoyed making jewelry, crosswords, planting flowers, and gardening. She also liked animals, the sunrise and sunset, and her Texas Rangers. Belinda loved her family.
